The Tzedek Social Justice Fund collaborates with funders across the country to leverage resources for nonprofit and grassroots organizations that address systemic change and advance LGBTQ justice, racial justice, and combat antisemitism. Our collaborations are strategic and are intended to magnify the impact of individual gifts. We are part of three funder collaboratives:
Out in the South Initiative and Funders for LGBTQ Issues, New York City
Out in the South is a five-year initiative to increase the scale and impact of foundation funding for LGBTQ communities in the U.S. South. Core strategies include: 1) the Out in the South Fund which provides planning grants, matching funds, and technical assistance to stimulate the creation and growth of local LGBTQ funds; 2) funder briefings, trainings, research and materials; and 3) building a network of funders committed to strengthening LGBTQ communities in the South.
