Social Justice PhilanthropyThe Tzedek Social Justice Fund supports vital social justice organizations and leaders working in the areas of LGBTQ Justice, Racial Justice, and Dismantling Antisemitism.
While not religious, Tzedek’s work is grounded in Jewish social justice values. These include justice (Tzedek), equitable giving (Tzedakah), repairing the world through social action (Tikkun Olam), and leadership (Hanhagah). These values call us to action.

Helpmate works with our community to eliminate abuse and fear by providing safety, shelter, and support for people who have been victimized by domestic violence. All services are provided to people of all genders.

The Jewish Social Justice Roundtable is a network of 70 organizations that strengthens and aligns the Jewish social justice field in order to make justice a core expression of Jewish life and help create an equitable world. We envision a loving, caring, and equitable world in which power is shared and all are free from injustice. In this world, we live out our Jewish traditions of justice, embrace the beauty and multiplicity of Jewish identities, overcome past and present oppressions, and trust in ourselves, one another, and our partners to pursue justice together.

JMPRO TV is a bilingual Grassroots Media in Western North Carolina. Their platform builds connections, shapes narratives, and celebrates culture through a variety of media such as video interviews, reportages, Live event coverage, and radio shows. They fight for a more aware and civic engaged Latinx community able to demand structural changes on the issues that affect them. The JMPRO team is made up of community reporters that reflect the makeup of their audience, they offer bilingual reporting as an alternative media source for Spanish-speakers in this area.

Tzedek (pronounced “tz” as in ritz, TZEH-dek) is the Hebrew word meaning justice, which is at the heart of our mission.
