Sin embargo, me baso en dos premisas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> En primer lugar, creo que puedo aprovechar mi poder, utilizar mi voz y dirigir recursos para hacer cambios. Lo que aprendo de la gente en mi comunidad local ya ha impactado en el trabajo a nivel nacional. Por ejemplo, nuestro trabajo con la justicia ling\u00fc\u00edstica en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os me inspir\u00f3 a estar en conversaciones con l\u00edderes nacionales sobre la falta de accesibilidad en sus eventos. Y he visto a sus organizaciones hacer cambios, lo que permitir\u00e1 una mayor participaci\u00f3n de aquellxs que no hablan el lenguaje dominante. Este es el tipo de impacto que imagino constantemente y hacia el cual estoy trabajando.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En segundo lugar, creo que existe un imperativo moral para redistribuir los recursos acumulados. Tzedakah (la palabra jud\u00eda de la que Tzedek proviene) no se traduce como caridad. Describe una pr\u00e1ctica esencial de aparecer en el mundo, actuando siempre por lo que es justo y correcto. La caridad se basa en la idea de que las personas que est\u00e1n recibiendo recursos son menos que lxs dem\u00e1s y que est\u00e1n necesitadas. Cuando pienso en nuestrxs socixs comunitarixs, nuestrxs becarixs, y a quienes financiamos, no veo gente necesitada. Veo transformadores brillantes del mundo.
